How it works

We pass your request to MyJobQuote, a UK quote-matching partner. They send it to local tradespeople who can contact you with quotes. We never do the work ourselves.

1. You tell MyJobQuote about the job in the request form on our guide and tool pages: what you need, your postcode and how to reach you.
2. You agree to be contacted. The request form is run by MyJobQuote, and you agree there to be contacted about your job.
3. MyJobQuote matches you with a few tradespeople in your area who do that kind of work.
4. Tradespeople contact you by phone, email or text to discuss the job and quote.
5. You decide. There is no obligation to accept any quote. Your contract is with the tradesperson you choose, not with us.

Is it free?

Yes, for you. MyJobQuote may pay us for requests we send them. That does not change the price you are quoted.

Do you check the tradespeople?

No. We do not vet, recommend or employ any tradesperson. Before you hire, check reviews, ask for references and get a written quote. Our guides list good questions to ask.

Can I change my mind?

Yes. Email hello@homequotewise.co.uk and we will stop and ask MyJobQuote to do the same. See our privacy policy.
