Driveway cost calculator
Enter the size and surface to see a rough price range for a new drive.
These are rough guides built from published UK price ranges, not quotes. Your price depends on your home, access and the tradesperson.
Worked example
A 40 m² block-paved drive (a typical two-car drive) at MyBuilder's £80–£150 per m² comes to £3,200–£6,000. If the old drive has to come out, add about £30–£50 per m² (£1,200–£2,000), for £4,400–£8,000 in all.2 Checkatrade's average for block paving is £100 per m², or about £4,000 for the same 40 m² before dig-out.1
